The IRRF maintains its position at the forefront of sustainable road-related research through its state of the art facilities. Funding provided by industry partners and grants from the Canadian Foundation for Innovation, Alberta Advanced Education and Technology, MITACS, and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC), has enabled the IRRF to establish two leading-edge components: a green-smart test road for testing and monitoring, and a comprehensive laboratory for data collection and analysis.
